Project completed: 2015
Located in Stratford, East London’s rapidly emerging cultural hub, Manhattan Loft Gardens has been described by the Sunday Times as ‘London’s sexiest new skyscraper’. This latest addition to Manhattan Loft Corporation’s vast portfolio contains a mixture of residential loft-style and single-storey apartments, a five-star hotel, two restaurants and, owing to its uniquely engineered, double-cantilevered profile, three ‘sky gardens’ which provide shared outdoor spaces for residents along with singular views across London. Aram Contracts were appointed to the project to specify, procure and supply loose furniture and lighting for The Stratford Lofts located on the 28th floor.
A modern and minimal scheme of furniture was demanded by the unfinished and raw aesthetic of the lofts, designed by the Parisian Studio KO, and we are very happy with the results. Challenging conditions of a logistical nature also came with the delivery and install requirements of this project, owing to the high-rise location and a strict regulatory system on-site, but this was all handled seamlessly by our experienced and professional team. We are very proud to be a part of the team bringing this exceptional building to life and excited to now be working on furnishing the penthouse apartment due to open summer 2019.
